Confused over which is the best exercise for you to do? Discover what you really need to do…

People are often amazed when they discover there are certain exercises I do not like doing! People sometimes assume that because someone is a Fitness Instructor, Personal Trainer or Exercise Teacher that they enjoy ALL forms of exercise. This couldn’t be further from the truth….

For example, I don’t particularly like running, but I’ll do it as and when my body requires a bit of a boost, stamina or endurance. I also like swimming, walking and lifting weights.

However, my preferred form of exercise and one I find fun, challenging, and currently suits my health and body is High Intensity Interval Training. Simply because of the variety of exercises and the results it gives me.

What is the ONE exercise you like to do and you find gives you the results you desire?

Unfortunately, many people think they have to do lots of exercises to be fit, healthy, slim, lose weight, be stronger or feel flexible. This is not the case. Maybe you do a lot of different exercises you don’t like or your body doesn’t prefer, but here’s the key…

Simply choose one or two exercises you prefer to do, three the most, and do them consistently to achieve the results you want. It is that simple!

Now there are some exceptions where maybe you have a health condition that requires you to exercise in a way you’d rather not. It’s about why you’re doing the exercise and the end result you’re trying to achieve.

For example, maybe you’re use to running, but because of an injury you’ve had to focus on stretching and Pilates exercises. Or you prefer doing relaxation exercises or dancing, but because you have a weak back or joint problems, you now need to focus on strengthening your muscles through doing weights.

What will your preferred exercises be?

You might have to try out a few exercises and choose the ones that suit you. Give it a go.
