When do the classes happen?

The classes happen during a 12 week period. See the Classes page (https://fittemple.org.uk/classes/) for the next dates.

Who are the classes for?

The classes are open for both men and women.

Where do the classes take place?

All classes happen at the Peake Hall at Pollards Hill Baptist Church, Wide Way, Mitcham, CR4 1BN.

Is there parking or public transport by the venue?

Parking is available along Wide Way and the roads close to the venue. Buses 60, 152 and 255 all pass by the venue.

What do I need to wear?

Wear suitable trainers and socks and comfortable exercise clothing, such as a t-shirt, sweatshirt, leggings or non-flared jogging bottoms. For women, ensure to wear a suitable exercise or supportive bra.

What do I need to bring?

A bottle of water or electrolyte drink and a small hand towel.

What ages are suitable to do the classes?

The classes are suitable for adults, age 18+

I’ve not exercised for years. Can I still attend?

Absolutely. The exercises are tailored to suit all fitness levels – from beginners through to advanced.

I have a medical condition or injury. Can I still attend the classes?

The class Instructor will have a chat with you to assess your needs and suitability for the classes. If you’re concerned about whether you should participate in the exercise classes with your condition, it’s advisable that you speak with your GP or Health Care Physician first.

I want to attend the classes, but I’m conscious I’ll be by myself.

There will be others attending the classes by themselves too and you’ll soon find someone to speak to and exercise alongside with.

I want to try out a class first. When can I do a Taster Class?

Spaces to do a Taster Class will take place during the first week of each new 12 week course.
