One client shared how they had stopped doing their self-care routine due to a life event that caused them to go abroad for a few weeks. They were upset because they had made huge progress and then a situation beyond their control showed up, and as far as they were concerned, sabotaged their gains…or did it?
They explained how this had happened on two other occasions, which caused them to stop and not go back to the routine that had been helping them.

And these life events were so distracting, you felt you didn’t have the time or motivation to keep going.
Life happens. The key thing is…. don’t stop – just keep it moving.
When you’re committed, you’ll keep showing up for you and your self-care needs – be it in the form of exercise, movement, nourishment, stress hygiene, meditation, decluttering, etc.
When you’re committed, you know that even doing 5, 10 or 15 minutes of your self-care routine will still make a massive difference to your health and wellbeing.
When you’re committed and you still take action in the midst of life lifeing you, you send a message to your brain and body, and the external world that your wellness matters.
